Films that inspired me to travel. What are your favourites?
Many a great novel has been transformed into an entertaining movie. Often writers work with cinematographers to capture a time and place just right. Below are a few recent films that made me curious about travelling abroad. Feel free to add one of your own exotic locations. Gregory

The Talented Mr. Ripley based on the Patrica Highsmith novel. (Italy)
The English Patient written by Michael Ondaatje (Egypt)
Out of Africa -memories of Isak Dinesen (Kenya)
Fortunately, my wife and I were able to spend a month in Italy; six weeks in Egypt and three weeks on safari in Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar. Amazing times and the travel stories are coming in the near future.
